Grand dining where you least expect it.
Bert's is a grand dining room informed by 1930s elegance, country club charm, and a great sense of ease - a mood owed to its location on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and views overlooking Pittwater.
Material selections define each of Bert's areas; the sun-drenched round room adopts a palette of oak, rattan, cane to create the relaxed tone of the room. The restaurant works in varying olive-green tones and white high gloss timbers atop verde imperial tumbled marble tiles. The promenade divides the restaurant and the round room with rosso verona & portagallo marble harlequin flooring to anchor custom leather banquettes and upholstered bentwood chairs. The kitchen utilises carrara marble octagon dot-tiles trimmed with brass and custom kitchen work benches. Brass has been used across shelving and brackets for oak shelves. The champagne bar, with its custom green onyx counter and hanging shelves sits at the intersection of the restaurant, the promenade, and the salon.
